Consumer Price Survey Conclusion

The numbers shout what the dealers’ coupons and marketing tactics cannot hide. Dealers’ prices were between 39% and 72% more on this range of jobs. Scandinavian’s customers bank serious money and their savings do not end here. Consumers suspect, and industry insiders know that it is routine for dealerships’ service writers to be schooled, coached, and heavily compensated to up-sell unnecessary repairs. Once your car is in their service department, the balance of power shifts away from the consumer, to the dealer. Then their service writers are expected and rewarded to exploit the advantage and sell, sell, sell.

We believe that it is unfair and dishonest to put anyone’s interest ahead of customers who depend upon our expertise and integrity. At Scandinavian, the up-sell, low-ball quotes, and other slimy tactics are out of the question. Our customers have come to rely on us not only for our expertise and integrity but also for significant savings over our competitors’ prices.
